[vc_column_text]KVIC – The Khadi and Village Commission (KVIC) is charge with the planning, promotion, organisation and implementation of programs for the development of Khadi and other village industries in the rural areas in connection with other agencies engaged in rural development wherever necessary. RUDI/Sewa Gram Mahila Haat has signed MOU with KVIC for the development of rural areas by providing employment opportunities through selling its products through Khadi outlets in rural villages. This was both RUDI/SGMH and KVIC work together to improve the lifestyle of rural people.

EDP – Exposure Dialogue Programme, which is one of the best programmes done with many reputed and grassroots organization to bring out some root cause of issues in the development sector. EDP in designed to have dialogue with such organization which are working at policy level and to make/design/change certain policy to address such issues. EDP has been one of the most excited and successful event as it brings together two organization of two different countries where they meet and work with grassroots people to know and understand the whole issue.

Masala Bazar – Masala Bazaar is an event organized by RUDI every year in Ahmedabad, Rajkot and other districts of Gujarat. It has been held in between March and April during the spices season. IT is a seasonal event for providing best quality of fresh spices procured from the different districts of Gujarat. From last 2 years RUDI organizes Masala Bazaar in Rajkot with the support of KVIC. Masala Bazaar is a very successful event of RUDI.

Ananta – The Eternal Stitch – Ananta is an event organized by SEWA Trade Facilitation Centre and Alliance Francaise Ahmedabad (French Cultural Centre). RUDI was the part of the Ananta and got the chance to fulfill the objectives of this event. The main objective of organizing Ananta was to highlight the skill and talent of the rural poor artisans at the national and international level. This helped the women to convert their traditional skills into means of livelihood.

Gram Haat Training Centre Inauguration – SEWA Gram Mahila Haat has just inaugurated a training centre in their premises. RUDI is collaborated for this. Gram Haat Training Centre will provide different types of training to the rural women regarding farming, processing, packaging, sales and marketing, accounts, admin, store management, procurement, product quality, etc. All RUDI products are also available for selling in Gram Haat Training Centre.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
